Green Plastigage made from a special extruded plastic thread with accurately controlled crush properties. It provides a fast and accurate way to check bearing clearances, measures 0.001-0.003 in. (0.025-0.076 mm), has an individual piece length of 12 in., and is packaged in a calibrated envelope that serves as the measurement scale. One package contains enough material to check main and connecting-rod clearance for one engine.
